Lavonne Thomas makes every piece herself from Czech glass, crystal, glass beads and sterling silver. Everything is nickel-free, and there is never any plastic.

The maker

Every piece passes through my hands.

I choose each bead, string each strand and close each clasp myself. I work in Czech glass, crystal, glass beads and sterling silver, because they last and they catch the light.

Everything I make is nickel-free, and there is never any plastic in it. If you have a piece in mind that you cannot find anywhere else, I would love to make it for you.

Materials

What every piece is made of

  • Czech glass

    Pressed and fire-polished glass beads from the Czech Republic, prized for deep color and a clean, bright finish.

  • Crystal

    Precisely faceted so it catches the light and sends it back with every movement.

  • Glass beads

    Chosen one at a time for color and shape, then strung and spaced by hand.

  • Sterling silver

    Solid sterling for wire, clasps and findings. It never flakes the way plating does, and it brightens with wear.

Nickel-free from clasp to ear wire. Never any plastic.

Caring for your jewelry

  • Put your jewelry on last, after lotion, perfume and hairspray.
  • Take it off before swimming, bathing or cleaning.
  • Keep each piece in its pouch, and polish sterling silver with a soft cloth.
